It's the 23rd Postharvest Loss Prevention Week!
This celebration aims to raise awareness to curb postharvest losses and maintain food safety and sufficiency.

By curbing postharvest losses on farm produce and by fully mechanizing the farm operations, PHilMech hopes to level up the agriculture sector - 4 our farmers, 4 our future.

This observation started in May 2000 through Proclamation No. 298, declaring every fourth week of May as Postharvest Loss Prevention Week.
