Earlier today, at about 6:00AM, DA9 Regional Executive Director Rad Donn L. Cedeรฑo conducted a spot inspection of Biosecurity Checkpoints at the regional boundaries of Region-9 and Region-10 in the municipality of Tukuran, and in the municipality of Aurora in Zamboanga del Sur.
RD Cedeรฑo expressed gratitude to the ZDS Provincial Veterinary Office and the Local Government Unit for the manpower provided in these checkpoint boundaries.
DA calls on all the public to help continue contain, and prevent the spread, and stop the entry of African Swine Fever (ASF) and other animal diseases, in the entire Zamboanga Peninsula. #BeRresponsible not to carry sick animals, contaminated meat products, and by-products, and secure proper permits from the BAI-VQS.
